Board a Cessna 206 Aircraft for an exciting adventure above San Jose City, Poas Volcano National Park, Irazu Volcano and small picturesque towns. Musical background, choreographed to each flight, accompanies spontaneous narration by the professionally trained pilot or tour guide.
Poas Volcano is one of the most important attractions from San Jose and from the air is very impressive admire its huge crater, considered one of the largest in the world. This crater measures 1.5 kilometers in diameter (0.9 miles) and is 300 meters deep (900 feet). The summit, surrounded by beautiful rain forest, includes a volcanic origin lagoon called Laguna Botos. Its deep blue waters contrast with the dense tropical forest that surrounds it.
Irazu Volcano is known by the name of "El Coloso" (The Colossus) due to the catastrophes that it has provoked in the past. The volcano's summit has several craters, one of which contains Diego de la Haya, a green crater lake of variable depth. It is the highest active volcano in Costa Rica.From the top it is possible to see both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans on a clear day.
Take spectacular pictures of these amazing active volcanoes and be a witness of the volcano activity, the geysers, the fumaroles, the sulfur’s sediments and the emerald color lagoon inside the main craters.
On the way to the volcanoes, a sightseeing tour is included around San Jose City and its main attractions: The Congress, National Museum, Parque Morazan, National Theatre, Central Park and Cathedral, La Sabana Park, The Brand New National Stadium and other highlights of the Costa Rican culture.
Upon landing, a return shuttle is waiting.

There is no child price discount for this flight, but a child 23 months or younger may fly at no charge and must sit on adult's lap. Children 2 through 12 years old must occupy a seat with seat belt on and are charged full rate. All taxes and fees are included in rates shown.
Cancellation Policy: Minimum 48 hours before the scheduled flight. A $20.00 penalty fee applies.
Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can only be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 48 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.
Weight & Size Guidelines: Aircraft weight and balance changes with every flight because of passenger weight, pilot weight and length of flight (fuel weight). It is important that we have accurate body weight from every passenger. FAA regulations require all passengers and their carry-on items to be weighed at time of check-in. Maximum weight per flight: 850 pounds.
